Let's talk about sisterhood.
Not the Instagrammable version.
The real one.
The kind that’s easy to forget when life gets busy.
The kind that feels both essential and… kind of hard.
Especially in midlife.
Because maybe you’ve felt it, too:
- That longing for connection, but not the energy to initiate it
- The guilt of not texting back right away
- The joy of a random “thinking of you” message that made your whole day
- The awkwardness of realizing you don’t *quite* know how to make new friends anymore
- The comfort of those low-maintenance friends who just *get you*
It’s complicated.
But here’s what I know for sure:
You still need your sisters.
The ones who see you. The ones who remind you. The ones who cheer when you go first.
We’re not meant to do this alone.
Not motherhood. Not reinvention. Not dreaming. Not healing.
Especially not showing up as the future version of ourselves we’re claiming in June.
That’s what we’re talking about in this week’s podcast episode:
Sisterhood in midlife. Why it matters. Why it feels harder. Why we lose it. How we start letting it back in.
But before we get there—just take a beat today and ask yourself:
What does sisterhood mean to me right now?
Where am I craving connection, and where am I resisting it?
Is it time to be a little braver in how I show up for my friends?
Or even in how I let them show up for me?
Oh—and in case you missed it, Delusional June is officially underway.
If you haven’t heard the kickoff episode yet, take a few minutes to listen to catch up and join us!
This month, we’re ditching “realistic” and choosing unjustified confidence, delusional belief, and zero apologies.
We’re showing up as the version of us that already exists—but might need a little extra spotlight.
So many of you have already shared that you're IN and what you’re choosing to believe in June—
One friend declared (out loud, in her car!) that she’s a sought-after global speaker and podcaster. That’s the energy. THAT’S the magic.
Now it’s your turn.
- Reply to this email and tell me your IN and your delusional belief for June
- Or DM me on Instagram or Facebook (@abeautifulfix) or LinkedIn
- Or leave a voice note at my Google Voice number, (312) 291-1221, (name optional, just do you 💕)
I might feature a few stories in upcoming podcast episodes—because we’re doing this together.
Here’s to dreaming out loud.
To calling in the women who remind you who you are.
To claiming what’s already yours.
Together. 🩷
Your sister,
xoxo Tracy
