Sunday Scaries?

It’s been five years since I left my corporate job but I still remember what Sunday felt like. (hint: see pic above)

That creeping dread. The tight chest. The calendar full of things I didn’t choose.

And just because I work for myself now doesn’t mean those feelings magically disappeared.

It’s easy to recreate the same pressure, just with a new title. Different job, same cycle.

That’s why I’ve had to be really intentional about how I build this next chapter. I don’t want to burn out chasing a business that feels just like the job I left. And if I'm being fair, the job wasn't truly the problem. I was. oof. 

Learning and embracing my Human Design has been one of the biggest game changers in that process. It’s helped me understand my energy, how I work best, and what I need to stop doing to actually feel like myself again.

I’ve also started to pay way more attention to my nervous system. Breathwork, music, time in nature. They’ve all helped, but Human Design has been the foundation.

This week on the podcast, I’m talking with Lyndsey Kampen about what it really means to protect your energy.
